geocell GEODOR
Technology using geocell, based on the construction of retaining walls, to strengthen the steep slopes with large tilt angle. Strengthen the systems versatility allows the use of it for the following work:
Increased construction zones to the possible limits;
Construction of structures impeding storm water flows;
Prevention of falls and the strengthening of slopes;
Installation of safety barriers along the lane;
Installation of noise barriers.
The primary function of retaining walls on the basis of geocell - to ensure the functionality of a steep or even vertical structures, which should minimize erosion, provide structural stability and resistance to external loads. Even a slight change of the slope requires that the grounds of which is being built structure were built at high altitude and were steeper slope than allow their internal strength parameters. As a result, the load, which can withstand such structures depends on the following factors:
Height variation of the angle;
Internal strength parameters of soils;
Geometry of the slope located above the design;
Availability of additional loads.
The basis of the successful choice of the necessary type of construction is the quality of the soil, the availability of suitable materials for backfill, the economic calculations of the project and the necessary aesthetic parameters of the completed building.
Technology construction of retaining walls of reinforced soil is different in that there is no need for complex construction machinery and imported materials. Much of the work is done by hand, and filling the cells can use local soils.
